职位描述:

I eure I contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the fit choice for home furnishings in my primary market area (PMA) in order to maximise sales and long-term profitability. Based on deep knowledge of people’s life at home and a high level of home furnishing competence my team and I present and communicate the IKEA offer in ways that make it attractive and relevant to my local market. I am respoible for euring we visualise the uniqueness of the IKEA product range within specialty shops, compacts, studios, the Self-serve furniture area, Swedish Food Market and activities throughout the store to distance us from the competition. I eure we maximise the impact of these store media in order to convert visito into satisfied custome and stimulate repeat visits by creating vitality in all areas of the store throughout the year. I lead and ipire my team to develop and implement:

? store layout as a commercial tool

? range presentation

? store communication

Together with my team we eure high quality, simplicity and cost-cociousness in the execution of our work by using global tools and best practises.

ASSIGNMENT

Custome

? I have a deep knowledge and undetanding of people’s needs and wants, their living situatio and living conditio in my local market as well as their buying behaviour. Together with my team I use this knowledge to provide home furnishing solutio for a single product or a combination of products that improve people’s life at home.

? I work with my team to show ideas and solutio in many different styles, functio and price profiles to fit many individual tastes and to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA product range.

? My respoibility is to eure up-to-date specialty shops, compacts, studios, Self-serve furniture area and activity areas thereby creating vitality throughout these areas which exceed our visito’ expectatio.

? I analyse the IKEA Customer Satisfaction survey, Brand Capital and other visitor feedback and use these iights to improve the store experience of our visito and convert them into satisfied custome.

? I am respoible for working with the layout in my areas of respoibility in order to create a good overview and visual impact and to provide an easy buying process for our custome.

? I work with other functio and my team to eure that our store is always in shape as new.

? I work with my colleagues to secure that all communication in my areas of respoibility is:

coistent and undetandable

clear and uncluttered

supports self-choice and the mechanical sales system

guiding visito throughout the store.

I work with my team and other functio to eure we are visitor-focused throughout the store. I do this by euring:

all work is created and implemented with visito in mind

we minimise disruption when implementing major rebuilds and other day-to-day activities

we take time to respond to our visito’ needs when we are working on the shop floor

? I eure my area of respoibility is always a safe and secure environment for visito and co-worke.

Commercial/Business

I actively support my Communication & Interior Design (Com&In) manager in implementing the store business plan and the department action plan. I do this to support the optimisation of sales and our long-term growth by:

? euring the uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation and store communication in order to distance us from the competition.

? euring that the range presentation is relevant to the many people’s life at home in my local market and that it accurately reflects demographics, living conditio and our visito’ needs and wants.

? securing that our solutio reflect a wide variety of styles and functio to meet many individual tastes and to stimulate our visito to change their home furnishings more often.

? working with other functio on the commercial calendar activities, using store media to eure vitality in all areas, iide and outside the store, throughout the year.

? influencing and co-operating with the store commercial team, my Com&In manager, my colleagues and other support functio to eure that we focus on the same priorities.

? securing the use of the layout as a commercial tool to plan and implement the commercial strategies throughout the store.

? using visual merchandising competences and display techniques in specialty shops, compacts, studios, the Self-serve furniture area, Swedish Food Market and activities throughout the store. This allows me to:

present and communicate the IKEA product range and reflect its width and depth and strengthen our low-price profile on all levels

eure that the customer explores all the commercial areas and comes into contact with the whole product range

choose and locate the appropriate store media and display techniques to support the mechanical sales system and highlight sales priorities.

working with my team and the commercial team to plan and implement range changes in a simple and cost-cocious way.

? encouraging my team to respond quickly and proactively to commercial opportunities, customer feedback, competition, supply issues and volume commitments.

? educating my team and other functio on how to work with manuals, global directio and tools.

? working with the Interior Designer Manager and the Graphic Communication Leader to eure coistency in how we communicate throughout the store.

? actively supporting and developing co-operation with Sales and In-store Logistics through working closely together, sharing knowledge and respecting each other’s respoibilities to present the range in the most commercial, ipiring and aesthetic way possible.

? taking respoibility for ordering the materials and racking we use in the cotruction of displays.

I deliver an action plan for my area by:

? supporting the Com&In department plan to reach agreed goals and key performance indicato (KPIs)

? creating individual actio pla for each co-worker stating specific goals that support the overall action plan

? euring it is undetood and owned by all my team

? following up on the action plan and communicating progress to my team.

People

? I recruit my team searching for a combination of IKEA values and specialist competencies (such as visual merchandising, graphic design and store planning). I take into account the unique requirements of the Com&In team to combine practical, aesthetic and commercial skills.

? I lead, ipire and challenge my team to cotantly increase their knowledge of people’s life at home and develop their home furnishing competence.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Exteive experience of working as a visual merchandiser. Higher education qualification in visual merchandising or industrial design

A passion and curiosity for, and undetanding of, people’s life at home

Passion and knowledge of home furnishing, visual merchandising, retailing and communication

Exteive experience of working in a visual merchandise team of an IKEA company, a retail merchandise team or design studio

Creative and commercial visual competence with a keen eye for aesthetics

Ability to use the basics of AutoCAD

Self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a larger team

Good analytical skills

Ability to prioritise and organise peonal tasks and the work of othe in order to make the most efficient use of time available

Confident about communicating, coaching and managing/leading othe

Ability to adjust the style of communication to get the message across to the receiver and explain concepts and visual interpretation verbally
