The ERP Operatio Plan-to-Produce COE Lead is part of the Global COE team and will require highly qualified knowledge & experiences of Plan-to-Produce practices and operatio in global manufacturing environments.
Plan-to-Produce scope encompasses
Mixed-Mode (Process & Discrete) Manufacturing for belts, hoses or chemicals
Cotraint-based Planning & Scheduling
Planning (Long Term Planning, MPS and MRP)
Kanban
Lot & Batch management
Production Processes (Engineer-to-Order, Assemble-to-Order, Make-to-Order and Make-to-Stock)
Engineering Master Data Maintenance (Materials, BOMs, Work Center and Routings)
Engineering Processes (PDM, DMS, ECECO/ECN)
SIOP
MVP/Leaix Sigma
MES (optional)
This position will work closely with Gates key Operatio Functional Leade and regional IT teams to participate in the design of Industry best practices on financial policies, procedures and processes, data, roles definition and change management for the new Global Leading Practice Template. This position will require strong coulting skills, complex solution design skills, business knowledge and ERP solution expertise to effectively integrate ERP-enabled Global Plan-to-Produce template into the Gates business environment to achieve desired business results.
The position requires exteive prior experiences in operating in complex global COE organizational structure, have participated in multiple multinational/multicultural Go Live projects in manufacturing plants across APAC and other regio and have fulfilled different roles through yea of experience with hands-on process definitiomapping (including country specifics), systems configuration, data migration, organizational change management, methodology compliance, integration work plan development, team/project leadehip and formatioupport of super user communities.
This position requires a highly motivated and innovative IT professional who must have a track record of looking outside the box and using technology to deliver true values through traformation and is not be deterred by hard work.
Global Collaboration skills and Willingness to travel to any of our 30+ key manufacturing facilities within the region and globally is a must. Bilingual (English & Mandarin) communication skills are required.
The APAC geographical scope includes China, Japan, South Korea, India, Australia and South East Asia (Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia). The EMEA and Americas geographical scope include Europe, Middle East, USA, Canada and Latin America.
The Plan-to-Produce community includes:
Engineering Department (NPD enginee, Product ManageEnginee and MTO enginee)
Supply Chain Department (specifically the Planne)
Operatio Department (specifically ME, Production Schedule and Production)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOIBILITIES: List the essential functio that are core to this position and represent at least 5% of the incumbent’s time. Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functio listed below.
110%Define Global ERP strategy and roadmap. This includes Discovery to assess gaps and risks.
250%Design and Build Global Leading Practice Template in the new Global ERP environment.
320% Provide supervision to new full-cycle Go Live projects to eure process, data, reports and methodology compliance.
420%Build high performing team.
QUALIFICATIO & SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
Minimum 8-10 yea’ experience of working in a Global IT COE Organization.
Prior experience of working as the Regional IT COE Lead for multiple concurrent projects..
Minimum 5-8 full-cycle ERP Go Live projects in multicultural and multinational manufacturing plants. Must have exteive hands-on experiences in project methodologies & implementation.
Must have hands-on experience in designing, building, global/regional governance and implementation of global ERP templates.
Must have experience in Plan-to-Produce related to manufacturing companies specifically in mixed-mode (process and discrete) manufacturing industries; cotraint-based planning & scheduling, SIOP, Leaix Sigma including integration with Sales Operatio, Supply Chain, Shop Floor and Finance.
Must have prior experience implementing Batch/Lot Serial Number management.
Must have experience in managing 3rd-party coultants across multiple sites & countries on an operational level.
Must have exteive hands-on experiences in project methodologies & implementation.
Must be willing and capable of learning new skills, technology and knowledge related to job functio.
Must have bilingual (English and Mandarin) communication skills. Fluent in English in a must.
