Regional Purchasing Manager
Report to: Regional Purchasing Manager
Location: Shanghai, China
Overall Purpose of the Role
To set up professional supply resource and utilize Compass standard to support developing Support Service across all elements of the role and peonal behaviou. Purchase safe products and/or services. Manage supply chain and cost by negotiating great commercial and robust terms and conditio.
To deliver great products & services whilst developing strong supplier relatiohips. Develop and implement market leading category strategies which enable our operational colleagues to innovate, win and retain great business.  Develop and execute an ‘end to end’ sourcing and selection strategy for a given number of product categories from supplier through to outlet.
RESPOIBILITIES:
Set up a clear Support Service / uteil / disposable / maintenance strategy and standard nationally.
Support regional purchase mgr and buyer. Provide specific /tailed – made service to meet Support Service team need.
Follow and 10% compliance on CSF standard.
Out perform, year-on-year, agait cost base reduction targets. Negotiate optimum product costs with supplie.
Undetand the principle of category management. Support Non-Food category management
Rationalize supplier base & product range.
To liaise with supply chain and business secto to eure corporate & sector targets are delivered. Work with stakeholde to improve compliance to purchasing solutio.
Source products and services that enable labour efficiencies.
Identify and address categories where existing policies are unnecessarily inflating above unit costs.
Identify and address unproductive activities and process inefficiencies.
Develop & implement processes to measure supplier performance and manage areas of under performance. Set supplier business pla with ambition and vision with specific performance targets for supplie.
To implement support DC setup and operation to achieve set KPI.
To work cross functional within the business to improve business performance and capability.
Market leading commercials. Indentify future commercial opportunities. Monitor and communicate market trends to key stakeholde.
QUALIFICATIO:
Univeity graduate, major in logistic or finance is preferred
Minimum of 5-7 yea buying experience and proven track record of delivering cost and revenue targets. Strong buying pedigree.
Previous experience in a large company with a divee customer base and wide service offering.
Prior experience of change programmes to deliver supply chain benefits.
Team leadehip, coaching to improve performance.Proven ability to lead, & coach a team which increase the capability and performance.
Category knowledge and experience. Undetands the principles of category management.
Develops category pla with ambition and vision.
Ambitious high performer with excess enthusiasm , energy and resilience.
Highly commercial, strong negotiator, exceptional communicator and influencer at all levels.
Integrity and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
High standard of literacy skills.
Proven track record in planning, organisation and time management.
Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Can Do attitude.
Good verbal English skills
