Respoibilities:
Develop, validate and implement new tire products using experimental & predictive approaches in interactio with othe functio / departments. Drives and coaches othe in the use of known technical solutio.
Product development and improvement:
?Develop new products (tread/cavity) following standards, according to priorities and performance objectives agreed on and using experimental as well as predictive approaches.
?Support implementation of new products in production and maintenance activities
?Eure all related aspects (tread & cavity, manufacturing...) are taken into account during the development phase
?Coaches othe in recognition and identification of problems
Process:
?Learn, undetand and apply the Global Design and Release Process.
?Identify and communicate any process and tool improvement items.
?Coaches othe on processes and tools within functional group.
Technology:
?Implements and coaches on usage of latest technologies in product development to eure premium performance
?Drives and coaches othe on documentation of the created knowledge.
Standards:
?Eure product conformity to internal, external and legal standards.
?Apply design guidelinestandards & best practices.
?Identify, communicate, and lead any guidelinestandards & best practices improvement items.
?Coach othe on guidelinestandards and best practices.
Requirements:
?Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics related
?Product Design Experience.
?CAD/CAM experience
?Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience
?Desired project management experience
?Knowledge of:
?CAD/CAM (preferred software Catia V5).
?Finite Element Analysis.
?ABAQUS, AYS or other commercial FEA solve.
?Statistical tools.
?MS Office (World, Excel, Power Point).
?VBA is an asset.
?SAP is an asset.
?Ability to define and execute projects.
?Ability to work in a multi-cultural team, as well as independently.
?Excellent communication and interpeonal skills
