POSITION SUMMARY

Purpose

The position is respoible for the development and continuous improvement of processes across the organization and in all Supply Chain functio. This position applies troubleshooting and root cause corrective action skills to define, manage and execute project initiatives and deliver improvements to key supply chain processes for simplicity, efficiency, waste reduction, avoidance of cost of non-conformances and SOX compliance.

Nature and Scope

This particular role requires the need for experience and in-depth undetanding of Liquid Bulk, Microbulk supply chain processes, particular in tactical planning, logistics and scheduling functio as well as Packaged Gas supply chain end-to-end processes. The incumbent should possess and an undetanding of the intricacies of the relatiohip of multiple supply chain function paramete, and KPIs in order to lead the division’s process and tool improvement initiatives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

?Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project team by partnering across multiple functio or businesses

?Pla, performs and implements complex continuous improvement initiatives to new and existing processes.

?Collects data to identify root cause of problems, measures performance agait process requirements and alig improvement to performance shortfalls.

?Leverage functionality of the available data systems, including SAP, LB Shell, Quest, the Management Reporting System and other available data sources to drive low cost operatio and process improvement.

?Link and coordinate process improvement and planning work with Global and other Asian counterparts to eure coistent process convergence and best practice sharing where appropriate.

?Partne with the IT organization (when necessary) to undetand, analyze, and make recommendatio to eure information systems are properly supporting business processes.

?Delive presentatio and training coues including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.

?Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement and identifies indicato for future improvement opportunities.

?Researches, surveys, and analyzes best practices for new techniques and processes to improve business performance.

?Collaborate with business reps / process owne to develop and agree on Business Requirements for Projects implementation.

?Promotes and influences othe regarding the importance of meeting customer, statutory, regulatory and safety requirements within the areas of respoibility.

Basic Qualificatio

?Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or chemical engineering

?Minimum of 3 yea’ experience with process improvement work or productivity projects

?Demotrated analytical, research, and reporting skills; good data mining skills

?Demotrated experience with process improvement and project management methodologies

?Self-starter, passionate and possessing high energy to drive change

?Disciplined, structured and logical approach to problem solving

?Strong project management skills, proven record of delivery agait deadlines

?Strong Supply Chain knowledge

?Experience with CI or other Optimization work

Preferred Qualificatio:

?Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred

?Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, or similar
