Job description:
To provide strategic leadehip and direction setting for the EHS department to eure that Novofibre develops, implements and maintai appropriate Environment, Health, Safety and Security systems, which comply with governmental, region and company requirements.
Working environment:
This EHS Management position is respoible for all aspects of the EHS department activities including providing strategic direction on relevant matte to other departments and senior management. Specifically, the department researches, develops and implements appropriate management systems to eure all legal, corporate and community expectatio are met.
Major respoibilities:
1.Managing the delivery of EHS&S services;
2.The quality, effectiveness, cost and timeliness of EHS&S programs and projects;
3.Preparing and implementing policies, procedures and systems that will assist in EHS management and in the achievement of objectives;
4.Managing the performance of EHS&S staff;
5.Meeting strategic objectives for EHS&S performance;
6.Maintaining third party certificates for Environmental Management;
7.Implement development and training strategies for self and subordinates.
Major functio of the position:
1.Maintain knowledge of industry best practices for EHS&S by participating in various local, corporate committees’ councils, etc.
2.Undertake appropriate planning to provide direction and objectives for the EHS&S team.
3.EHS Steering Committee, EHS Committee, departmental tool box meetings, presentatio e.g.
4.Maintain and keep regulatory licees for EHS&S up to date.
5.Undertake and be respoible for any special projects within the EHS&S department.
6.Puue the achievement of all key performance indicato and other performance targets.
7.Apply technical knowledge to EHS&S issues.
8.Be aware of and involved in other company and corporate issues of EHS&S as required.
9.Coult and couel manage and employees to elicit and solve EHS&S related problems.
10.Keep all employees informed of their respoibilities and assure delivery of training programs that educate the workforce on carrying out their EHS&S respoibilities in a competent manner.
11.Eure that EHS&S Management Systems are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the appropriate specification i.e. ISO9000
12.Eure that performance reports are presented to the EHS&S Steering Committee as a basis for continuous improvement.

Qualification requirement:
1.Working knowledge of all applicable regulatio, Environmental, Health and Safety.
2.Bachelor’s degree, with 5+ yea multi-discipline experience in plant, engineering, safety, or environment.
3.Effective communication skills, computer literate, report writing skills. A flexible approach and ability to prioritize.
4.Leadehip qualities, ability to lead by example and to lead change.
5.Languages: Fluent Chinese and English communication skills.
6.Computer Level: Familiar with office automation software.
7.Other requirements: proactive, self-initiating, diligent, customer-focused abstract / conceptual thinker, challenger, disciplined / systematic, flexible / adaptive, holistic thinker, imaginative, initiative, well organized.
