JOB RESPOIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Primary contact for key account custome during quality issue resolution. Must be capable of balancing business needs with customer requirements, while effectively communicating with custome and rest of Gates operatio.
Serve as the communication liaiso between manufacturing and the key account customer.
Respoible for driving effective closed loop problem solving methodology during customer issue resolution (Example – 8D Methodology, 5-Why, Cause & Effect Diagram, DOE, Plan-Do-Check-Act). Lead and assist peonnel in problem-solving as necessary.
Develop and monitor a quality performance matrix for key account customer, report customer quality matrix to the company and facilitate improvement activities across organizatio within the company to achieve customer satisfaction.
Participate in customer quality auditing as required to support improvement of quality management system in achieving customer’s supplier qualification requirements, for example MSA, QSB, etc.
Respoible for review, impact evaluation, qualification and approval of product / process changes as applicable within the management of change process (ECN). Also accountable to eure Product Change Notice (PCN) requirements of custome are properly followed before and during change implementation. This includes having knowledge and experience in adhering to Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), which may be required by custome as part of change qualification.
Develop and utilize technical competence in product application, manufacturing, process & quality control, and customer application to enable more effective resolution of customer complaints.
Accountable to coordinate and eure any required sorting or containment activities related to quality issues are carried out effectively. This includes validation that the containment method is effective, and may involve travel to custome’ sites to support.
Respoible to coordinate with customer service and sales functio to eure replacement part requirements are satisfied when required by custome due to quality issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILL AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
Ideal candidate will have experiencekills in: Quality principles, process Improvement, communication skills.
Education requirements are engineering with bachelor degree,
Minimum of 5 yea Quality Field experience and 3 Yea experiences in automotive industry dealing with global OEMs, working with rubber products preferred
Experiences with Honda is a plus
Strong ability on 8D problem solving methodology
Knowledge and experiences with APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC and MSA
Undetand quality management system requirements for key automotive OEMs,
ISO/TS auditor qualification, required
Six Sigma experience preferred.
Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook. Minitab is a plus.
Ability to travel approximately 30% of time.
Strong communicatiocoordination skills and results oriented
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Capable of speaking, writing and reading Mandarin Chinese & English
