Job Function:

Independently performs factory audit on production process and finished product sampling in accordance with the customized ipection requirements. Documents examination, variatio and test results on appropriate UL forms. Cooperates with custome, factories, and internal stake holde to provide excellent customer service. Trai and evaluates the readiness and competency of other field representatives. Assists in the promotion, marketing and selling of new and existing UL services. Works with internal and external custome to resolve technical and administrative issues. May lead an ipection team in the future.

Job Respoibilities:

*1. Independently performs factory audit on production process and finished product sampling in accordance with the customized ipection requirements. Documents examination, variatio and test results on appropriate UL forms.

*2. Discusses with custome for the ipection requirements and timeline. Interprets and analyzes the ipection results and observatio. Coordinates with factories in implementing the on-site ipection.

*3. Provides general information on policies and procedures for the varied UL services along with promoting and explaining the benefits of new and existing services. Discusses procedures, test methods, test results, sample selection and variatio in products, devices, processes, systems and materials as necessary to resolve problems, implement changes to existing

requirements or help develop new requirements.

*4. Cooperates with internal stake holde including account manager, program manager, project management, and testing labs, to provide excellent customer service.

*5. Trai and evaluates the readiness and verifies the technical competency of other field

representatives. Provides technical assistance in several product categories and/or

ipection methods.

*6. May direct and review the work of assigned staff. May coult management on staffing

levels and performance appraisal process of other field staff.

*7. Performs other duties as directed.

Hire-in:

?Some Univeity education in applied science plus 8 yea related work experience.

?Detailed knowledge of third party certification ipection process.

?Detailed knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the appropriate discipline.

?Knowledge on Wood Flooring, or Furniture, or Building Products is a plus.

?Excellent communication skills. Be willing to work with custome.

?Demotrated ability to work independently, and demotrated high level organizational and multi-tasking skills in a technical environment.

?Proficiency in English speaking and be able to work directly with US colleagues.
