Description of the role

1. The role encompasses commercial and technical aspects of customer relatio for a defined project and clientele of a certain part of the program portfolio.

2. Independently handling customer inquiries and orde. Analyzing customer requirements, developing technical solutio and quotatio in close cooperation with BIW Sales department and other respected departments. Preparing the technical project plan and performing the commercial preparation for the project

3. Creating offe and quotatio; cost based pricing in accordance with the company's costing and pricing guidelines.

4. Independently handling of projects in accordance with objectives specified by project management or by the product group leader. Project development in accordance with technical criteria specified in the job order and internally defined commercial objectives.

5. Taking active respoibility for orde during the processing phase, in the see of intervening in the event of deviatio and helping to find solutio, in cooperation with internal departments and also with field staff where applicable.

6. Managing customer relatio and providing continuous feedback and support to program management throughout the entire project life cycle

7. Reporting tasks, i.e. preparing/processing sales data from the assigned area as required for regular reporting in the Global Projects List

Basis of requirements:

1. The role requires knowledge and skills that are generally acquired through completion of at least three yea of appropriate vocational training, qualified advanced training further education, plus especially exteive technical addition qualification as well as is acquired work experience.

2. Equivalent knowledge and skills can also be acquired through completion of a relevant univeity-level coue of study of up to four yea plus further education or training resulting in a qualification plus exteive further skills development in related fields, or through completion of a relevant univeity-level coue of study of more than four yea plus additional advanced skills development in related fields.

3. Total of the knowledge and skills required by the role can also be acquired in other ways.

4. BIW or automotive background, and German speaking are preferred.
