Overview:
1.The Marketing Director is respoible for providing the leadehip in developing and implementing strategic marketing and business strategies in China. The position is expected to create and lead initiatives to 1) strengthen Kemin brand and competitive advantages 2) eure the most effective utilization of our core competences (product management, technical services, CLS, and engineering services) in a coordinated manner, and 3) strengthen data and information management capabilities (market, custome, and competitor intelligence) for better decision making.
2.The Director of Marketing will play a key role in Kemin’s Product Innovation Process (PIP), primarily focusing upon the identification and qualification of product opportunities and shepherding those product concepts through the development process, prelaunch planning and drive speed to market after launch.
3.The Director of Marketing is a member of the Executive Committee and is called on to contribute significantly to the decision making of the company.
Respoibilities:
1.Branding
1) Develop and implement an effective Kemin Brand strategy, strengthening Kemin’s brand leadehip in China
2) Re-launch Total Nutrition platform
2.Strategic Marketing
1)Define market that matte for Kemin in China
2)Segment the market, determine target segments and our value proposition and positioning in chosen segments
3)Develop and implement the best optio to approach the target markets (4Ps).
4)Provide strategic direction for new product development through active participation in the PIP process
5)Eure the most effective utilization of our core competences (product management, technical services, CLS, and engineering services) in a coordinated manner across the organization.
6)Work closely with the sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentatio.
7)Lead Kemin China’s annual strategic planning process. Provide quarterly updates to WW
8)Develop and manage annual marketing budget.
9)Motivate and develop staff within the Marketing Department, help staff to achieve their career development and SMART goals.
3.Data and Information Management
1)strengthen data and information management (market, custome, and competitor intelligence), providing continuous and timely analysis of industry trend and dynamics, of customer trends and of competitive activities to facilitate effective decision making
Qualificatio:
1.Visionary and strategic thinker supported by trainings in a bioscience/biotechnology based fields, preferably with a MBA or equivalent business related degree.
2.A minimum of 8 yea of strategic marketing management experience in agrifood, agribusiness, food, health or related industries.
3.A proven track record of achieving strategic goals and delivering budgets
4.A high-energy individual capable of to providing leadehip, set priorities, delegate respoibilities, and meet tough timetables
5.Excellent interpeonal skills to be able to work effectively in a divee team environment.
6.Demotrated ability in dealing with challenges and issues, seen as peon to go to for solutio.
7.Ability to work under pressure.
