GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Respoible for product design and iuring desig meet customer requirements. Serve as a team member on multi-discipline Project Development Teams. Work is of a technical nature where decisio are made within the limits of general practices and procedures. Creativity and initiative is expected to make engineering decisio. Supervision is available to handle unusual situatio.

MAJOR RESPOIBILITIES

1.Be respoible for product design, specificatio, validation and CN release (drawing, spec, etc.) for cat 2 and 3 projects.

2.Lead product problem solving and root-cause analysis.

3.Evaluate customer requirements for product specification and function.

4.Execute Nexteer Customer Program Implementation (CPI) assignments on schedule.

5.Perform as customer technical liaison to support CPI flawless launch

6.Maintain and update Product engineering documents, such as Engineering Bill-of-Material (EBOM), product drawings and Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA).

7.Provide product engineering expertise to support supplier development, manufacturing quality analysis, and customer requests.

8.Follow Nexteer Procedure and Process, such as Internal Control (IC) procedures, change management PLM / CPI process.

9.Support continuous Cost Improvement Process (CIP) and timing estimatio.

10.Support new business puuit activities.

11.Accept other job respoibilities as required by Supervisor.

12.Maintain safety and good housekeeping.
