Essential Duties and Respoibilities

?The design and execution of new product development projects within the NPD Organization.

?Iuring the effective / disciplined use of the NPD process and related sub-processes by all project team and functional support membe.

?Supporting Product Manage in the development of business charte and other key documentation.

?Managing multi-disciplined project teams in the achievement of selected strategic and tactical objectives.

?Developing and managing project metrics that monitor project performance agait established objectives.

?Developing and managing project budgets within agreed upon targets.

?Developing and managing project resource pla through Clarity and the resource management process.

?Achieving targeted cost, schedule and product performance objectives.

?Providing leadehip for multi-disciplined and geographically separated project teams.

?The effective communication of project activities to all key NPD process and business stakeholde.

?Participating in NPD process ‘tollgate’ meetings, as defined by project and process requirements.

?Analyzing and recommending improvements in the NPD process and supporting sub-processes.

?Coaching selected resources in the effective use of project management tools and techniques.

Key Internal Custome and Supplie:

-This position will have frequent interaction with very senior membe of the global operatio including the corporate Strategic Project Manager, the VP Worldwide R&D, General NPD manager and Managing Director Asia Pacific, etc.

-It is important that candidates for this position be comfortable interacting with executives as well as shop employees who are involved in the production operatio.

-The New Product Development Project Manager also will serves as a member of the Worldwide R&D Organization – and will collaborate with other project, technical and functional leade euring the effective utilization of resources and achievement of all project objectives.

-Third party sourced product and technology vendo

-Raw material supplie

-Commercial architects, designe, and contracto

-Selected regulatory agencies that impact product performance, composition, etc.

Requirements /Qualificatio

-BS degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or other related field of study.

-10+ yea business experience.

-Superior organizational and project management skills with a minimum of 2 yea in lead project management role(s).

-Excellent written, verbal and interpeonal communication skills with Good English

-Strong reasoning and logic skills.

-Proven ability to motivate and drive results in positio without 'direct' management control.

-Previous experience with products or resilient / vinyl type product manufacturing would be a tremendous asset.
