The Sales Development Sales Specialists for UPSTREAM hunt & drive sales for new business opportunities. They will leverage their technical and industry expertise for generating sales from existing or new custome for the UPSTREAM product portfolio within a region and/or territory.
The Sales Development Sales Specialists partner with regional and key account manage to develop negotiation strategies and positio by integrating company strategies and operatio, examining risks and potentials estimating customer needs and goals.
The Sales Development Sales Specialists close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements and business operatio.
They are also expected to utilize their technical expertise to provide the sales force with the necessary tools, information and support to obtain additional sales and identify new opportunities. This role should be able to evaluate a customer’s process to identify solutio that address customer UPSTREAM challenges. All Sales Development Specialists are expected to utilize the available tools and resources to track and report sales activity and share account and process knowledge.
Sales Development Sales Specialist focuses on high level networking and drives the collaboration with custome, coultants and industry opinion leade.
Sales Development Sales Specialist will cooperate with core FM, Manufacturing Sciences, technical marketing, global marketing and strategic sales initiatives team.
Sales Development Sales Specialist shares portfolio with GKA and regional accounts and therefore contributes to meet or exceed sales or order targets and seeding targets both for GKA`s and regional accounts.
Sales Development Sales Specialists champion long term project planning & mgt activities through the leveraging of resources at strategic times during the project cycle – including but not limited to coordinating the support from internal team membe from Manufacturing Sciences, FM, Product Mgt, Quality, and othe.
You are:
?Bachelor degree (preferably technical) or equivalent qualification, preference will be given to candidates with post graduate business qualificatio
?Higher degree in a relevant natural science (Chemistry, Biology etc)
?Fluent in English (knowledge of German is an advantage but not a must)
Minimum of five (5) yea in a major sales / technical support role within a Life Sciences Company or a proven businessales development track record.
