Key respoibilities:

- Source fabrics in line with the Debenhams fabric strategy, critical path needs, pricing and performance requirements

- Research and report global trend and market information by visiting fai, mills, supplie, factories, chemical supplie etc.

- Identify and present fabric opportunities, innovation and newness

- Offer fabric solutio e.g. suitable substitutes that fall within the price point range

- Filter sourcing requests and coolidate where applicable

- Establish and maintain a trusted relatiohip with all stake holde

- Undertake performance management and appraisals for direct reports where applicable

- Support Ad-hoc projects and duties as from time to time assigned

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree holder in any discipline

- Over 6 yea related merchandising experience, preferably having worked in a buying office

- Strong undetanding of fabric cotruction / processing / market trend and price

- Fluent in English and Mandarin

- Good computer knowledge

- Excellent communication, organizational and interpeonal skills

- Detail-oriented, respoible, self-motivated, independent and able to deal with multi-tasks under pressure and tight timeline
