Summary of Role

Respoible for supervising all Supply Chain activities, euring that products and services are effectively sourced and delivered on time, at an acceptable price meeting agreed quality criteria. This shall include management, monitoring and ongoing development of all Sigma supplie and identification of additional supplie who would be able to satisfy future requirements of the business. Respoible for all logistics issues, including co-ordination of any raw material requirements, all storage, packaging and traportation issues. Respoible for the administration of China operatio euring procedures are in place and adhered to, meeting regulatory and customer requirements.

Key Tasks

?Management and development of all supply chain activities, euring requirements of Sigma and customer are effectively managed at all times.

?Identification of supplie who have capability, capacity and experience to satisfy our requirements and those of our custome.

?Manage ongoing relatiohips with supplie, implement formal monito and work closely to improve performance.

?Co-ordinate enquiries, orde and negotiate contracts with potential supplie

?Co-ordinate all logistics management issues, this will include importing of raw materials, any internal traportation and delivery of finished goods to point of delivery.

?Manage local Chinese relatiohips (partne, supplie, customs, government departments, custome representatives in China etc)

?Manage the effective operation of China office, carrying out general administrative duties where necessary.

?Supporting coulting activities of the business through research, liaison, visit planning and other general duties.

?Any other tasks deemed commeurate with your role by management

Qualities Required

?Degree in relevant discipline

?3 yea experience in a senior Supply Chain Management role, ideally for a multi national manufacturing company

?Track record of successfully delivering high level of supplier performance (quality, cost and delivery)

?Skilled negotiator, who is able to manage relatiohips with supplie, custome, partne, local government etc and obtain maximum benefit for the business.

?Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence othe.

?Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

?Able to work with minimal supervision yet deliver business objectives
