Report to the Senior Editor (Clinical Medicine), Beijing

Functio and Duties

?Actively build up authoeditor network among scientific community.

?Keep abreast of the latest development of respoible subject areas; focus on emerging or hot topics.

?Plan, acquire and manage Editorial Projects with Chinese authoedito directly or in cooperation with Chinese partne. Editorial Projects include books and journals.

?Work closely with the edito in the medicine publishing unit to achieve the targets assigned by the company.

?Help present Springer’s overall clinical medicine program at conference exhibits in China.

Requirements

?Preferred a master degree or PhD in medicine or life sciences. Further experience of the medical research environment or publishing is desirable.

?Scientific editorial/publishing experience, including contact with edito, autho and reviewe desirable.

?Experience of developing and maintaining productive and friendly relatiopartnehips with hospital and industry - based scientists.

?Preferably experience of presenting information to and conducting discussio with senior academics and representatives of organizatio (e.g. learned societies, libraries).

?Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.

?Ready to travel in China and global.

?Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and capability of handling multiple priorities.

?High motivation with a see of self - discipline and entrepreneurial interests.

?Experience of living / working in a foreign country outside China preferable.
