BASIC FUNCTION

In the phase of new product development, source and choose appropriate supplie to meet the goals of reaching target cost and on time launch for the new project, and conform to Kohler quality requirement. Continuously improve supplier performance to shorten development lead time.

SPECIFIC RESPOIBILITIES

1.Classify new product and choose qualified supplier

2.Release RFQ and get feedback as scheduled

3.Master supplier’s production capacity, manufacturing capability, quality control capability and cost model

4．Professionally negotiate with supplier to achieve cost target

5. Communicate with team on supplier selection and complete IR application process

6． Attend NPD meeting periodically and PPR meeting as scheduled

8. Effort to achieve on-time launch

9. Respoible for on-time delivery of new material outsourced

10. Deal with matte related to NPD parts

11. Develop new supplier and complete supplier assessment if needed

12. Continuously improve supplier performance, and to shorten D4 lead time and raise supplier’s competitiveness.

13. Other tasks manager assigned

RELATIOHIP AND CONTACTS

Supervisory Relatiohips: Reports to Purchasing Manager

Supervises：None

Internal Relatiohips:

Contact with Kohler R&D team, Kohler other subsidiary, Engineering team, NPI, Project team IQC, SQE, IQC and internal departments frequently

External Business Relatiohips: Frequently contact with supplie.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor, mechanical engineering majoring preferred

2. 5+ yea’ work experience in NPD purchasing management

3. Solid knowledge in general manufacture process,

4. Strong negotiation skills and project management skills

5. Excellent written and verbal skills in English
