Description:

The role of a Program Buyer is to anticipate the specific requirements for new programs (supplier technologies, geographical location and target costs), and to eure the commodity panel strategy is appropriate to support the acquisition. The role continues to select and pilot supplie from the agreed supplier panel in order to achieve Program objectives. The main missio of the role are to:

？Contribute to the conception of the client offer: participate in the program team from the offer conception phase/Pre-Requisition For Quotation Approval (RFQA), and involve expert supplie in the Pre-RFQA phase.

？Eure supplier selection from the agreed supplier panel: identify , in accordance with the commodity buyer, and coult supplie. Negotiate or participate with the commodity buyer in supplier negotiatio and the final choice of supplier.

？Direct performance follow-up during the program phase: manage supplie, compare costs with objectives, eure quality during the program phase, respect delivery deadlines and in particular eure that the program phase reviews, or « gate » reviews are supported within the framework of the Program Management System (PMS).

？Eure early involvement of the plant buye in the program before the series phase.

？Manage specific mandated supplie when requested and agreed with custome.

Qualificatio:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

？Bachelor degree in engineering with a specialisation in international purchasing

？Minimum 5 yea experience as a Program Buyer in an industrial environment

？Results oriented with strong written and oral communicatio skills

？Ability to work in a matrixed organisation

？International mind set, oveeas experience a plus

？Minimum bi-lingual (English mandatory)
