1BACKGROUND

Autoliv develops and produces Active Safety systems for various automotive applicatio: Vision, Radar, Night Vision systems. While core development of these seo is located in Europe and the US, Project Management and Application Engineering related activities, need to be located close to the customer, in China. Autoliv is therefore committed to developing regional capability for managing awarded business.

2POSITION OBJECTIVES

The primary objective of the position is to manage in an effective manner all Project related deliverables (QCDDM) between all entities involved in the project under coideration of all stakeholde needs.

3COMMUNICATION CHANNELS

The main communication channels used by the PTL are:

–Local Customer contacts, including regular contacts with Customer Management level for direction alignment

–Local Engineering Team in China

–Engineering and Project Management Team in the Platform center(s), and manufacturing facilities(s)

4MAIN RESPOIBILITIES

4.1Project Management and Team Leadehip

–Ow and manages the project, being fully respoible for its successful completion in meeting all QCDDM targets

–Leads the project team

–Coordinates between the key project functio:

oLMs for specific project team staffing and training

oBU for commercial related items

oDL for technical (Application) related items

oPlatform Leader for project related items

oNPPI for operatio (Plant) related items

oProject Buyer for procurement related items

oQA for quality related items

–Manages the project according to:

oAutoliv Project Development System (APDS)

oCustomer APQP requirements

–Manages project risks

–Manages project changes

5ADDITIONAL RESPOIBILITIES

Potentially supports quotation activities

6REPORTING

The PTL reports directly to the PTL Manager.

The PTL reports functionally to the Active Safety Engineering Director.

7PEONAL ATTRIBUTES

7.1Level of diploma

–Recommended Bachelo in engineering or science or equivalent (Maste is a plus)

7.2Work experience

–Minimum 5 yea of leading project in automotive electronics, or minimum 8 yea of technical leading experience in electronics related industry.

–Having a valid driver’s licee and capability to drive a car for testing purposes.

7.3Interpeonal Skills

–Fluent Chinese & Chinese Culture

–Proficient English (business related)

oILR Level 3 minimum, Level 4 is preferred

–Knowledge about (automotive) electronics product development

–Excellent communication and presentation skills

7.4Skills in relatiohip and management / leadehip

–Good leadehip skills to drive the team in the right direction

–Good negotiation skills to drive alignment between the various stakeholde

8LOCATION

Primary Location of Employment: Autoliv China, Jiading CTC office.

Domestic and oveeas business trips will be required.
