RESPOIBILITIES:
Engineering analysis to select and approve system level desig and detailed design approaches to meet production requirements for new headset communication products ?
Respoible for leading the mechanical design -- including front-end feasibility, schedule and cost estimates, tolerance analysis, prototyping, tooling and production line start-upupport.
Must be able to evaluate complex mechanical devices, components, assemblies and systems for development of new telephony products.
Should be able to oveee design of experiments to verify and determine appropriate design performance limits and variables for product, process or material specificatio.
This includes communication with the Santa Cruz development team, execution of the design and schedule goals set by Santa Cruz NPD, design, prototyping, and production line start-upupport.
Lead the core technology efforts in technical area -- must assure mechanical integrity and technical program objectives are met.
MUST HAVES:
Must be highly experienced (8+ y) in electro-mechanical design of high volume, low cost, coumer products.
Must have exteive experience on Pro/E.
Must have experience in making tradeoff’s of implementation in mechanical vs. electrical solutio for realizing low cost systems with minimal development risk.
Must have undetanding and practical experience on mechanical design to meet product reliability and compliance requirements, such as ESD, safety, RF and environmental regulatio (RoHS).
Must have experience as a project leader, and in the management of a divee and highly competent engineering staff while at the same time be able and willing to implement part of the design solely. A “hands-on” approach is required.
Must be able to work in a team environment and be a team oriented individual, and be able to train othe in best practice techniques for mechanical design.
Must have the skill to get cost seitive, high volume product from definition into production on very aggressive schedules.
Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.

Experience in the telephone or communicatio industry.
Experience in injection molded plastics, metal stamping, die casting.
Experience with PCB packaging; wire termination methods.
Experience with ASME Y14.5, DOE techniques, statistical process control.
Experience in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
