Key Job Accountabilities:

?Applicants are invited for a position of full time data scientist specializing in data mining/ machine learning/ statistics to conduct research on data analytics for coumer test, clinical test, product formulation, and safety evaluation etc., for L’Oreal R&I China labs

?You will need to setup the best analysis plan of tests in order to obtain the most accurate results, and eure the best practice of data management

?You will lead the activity of adopting and developing methods of linkage analytics, which brings together data drawn from in-vivo and in-vitro test systems. Data sources are not restricted to lab data and include many other settings, including data from social media and connected devices

?In addition, you should be willing to strengthen existing research groups and lead in the establishment of collaboration within the international Scientific Computing Community by sharing best practices and deploying and promoting international initiatives

?You will contribute to the development of high value algorithms in the collaborative Statistical Platform which aims at delivering help decision tools for R&I membe.

Requirements:

?Technical skills :

1.The successful applicant should have a degree in statistics/mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline. Research experience will be to mastePhD or equivalent

2.More than 4 yea’ working/research experience in data analysis and, experiences in computational chemist is desirable but not necessary

3.Grasp the knowledge on statistics and mathematics, including Descriptive Statistics, Linear Mixed Model, Regression algorithms, and so on

4.Grasp the knowledge in machine learning including clustering and classification, and prediction, etc. al.

5.Experience on Text mining algorithms and ontology cotruction is desirable

6.Good programming skills in R, Matlab, SAS ,or python

7.Fluent in professional English, at ease of working in an international and dynamic and collaborative working environment.
