Job Description
GRM Electronic Document Management (EDM) Business Leader
The role
The EDM Business Leader is respoible to lead the expaion and growth of the business with a focus on Electronic Document Management and Business Process Services for the Greater China market.
Job Location
Guangdong Based, Expect 30-40% travel
Occasional US, Regularly throughout China to the different locatio.
The role
Based out of Shanghai Headquarte, and reporting to the Country Manager, the EDM business Leader is respoible to lead the growth of the business with a focus on GRM’s EDM and Business process services. The EDM Business Leader will focus on sales and business development targeting local and multinational custome to devise solutio based on GRM’s suite of EDM products, working closely with internal and external stakeholde to successfully deliver superior service.
In specific, the EDM business leader will be expected to undertake the following upon assumption of the role.
1. Learn GRM Business
Learn and undetand GRM core business and incorporate the new component of electronic document management to the physical document management system already in place.
2. Market Research
Using the US EDM model the candidate will be respoible to conduct local research into the market for GRM’s EDM services looking at the current market and expected growth, local and foreign competition, marketing and sales strategies, pricing and related information.
3. Develop a Strategy
Work with the GRM leadehip to develop an overall strategy for deploying EDM services in the China market, developing a unique value proposition and strategy.
4. Create a plan
Create a three-year business plan for the deployment of EDM in China based on the above research and strategy with a view on the launching of products and services and the allocation of resources that are required in order to deliver on the business.
5. Manage Business
Focusing on sales and business development, the EDM business leader will be respoible to manage the day to day business of the EDM services at GRM in China.
Sales – You will be respoible to manage and support the sales and marketing activities of the EDM business in the region including sales, marketing activities, strategic relatiohips and business development.
Operational – You will be respoible to work with the GRM Operatio leadehip to eure the operatio and smooth delivery of the EDM Solutio to clients in all locatio.
Financial – You will be respoible for working with the GRM Management to manage the P&L of the EDM business and to oveee the financial matte including, annual budgets and forecasts for the business.
Profile and Qualificatio
You are currently a Sales Manager or business leader for an existing electronic management company and have experience in selling and operating a business in China at a company providing business process workflow solutio.
You have strong sales management skills with a high level of Business Development capabilities and the ability to create and foster new relatiohips and to manage existing ones.
You are a local Shanghainese peon or are China based and have the willingness to move to Shanghai within a reasonable timeframe. You have studied oveeas and have working experience either oveeas or working for a multinational in China in a management role with a proven ability to manage teams and operatio.
