岗位职责:

Direct patient care, learning skills and increasing knowledge so that they may become a full functioning Emergency Medicine physician.

Cotant assessment and re-assessment of the current evidence regarding clinical problems, attending didactic lectures arranged by the program leadehip, presenting at those and other didactic sessio, and, once a suitable level of seniority is achieved, act as precepto for less experienced junior physicia.

Perform any other duties as may be requested by the Program director of UFH EMTP or designee.

Secondary:

Administrative and research duties as required by the curriculum, as well as additional duties assigned by the training program faculty with the goal of increasing the fellow’s fund of knowledge and clinical capacity.

Liceing Requirements:

Candidates must have valid Chinese physician licee in the Chinese health system at the time of hiring. (必须要有中国职业执照)

Physical requirements:

Able to perform duties of a physician independently in a timely manner.

Language abilities: Should have strong Mandarin Chinese and English skills.

Leadehip skills: Should have or be prepared to develop a strong leadehip presence, a necessity for the successful Emergency Medicine physician.

General requirement:

Good decision-making and customer service skills

Amiable and works well under pressure

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of tasks.

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Able to pass MAM credentialing process of respective service area.

职位概述

Emergency physicia often treat patients who have life-threatening conditio. The primary job functio are to resuscitate or stabilize patients and then either treat or refer them to the appropriate medical departments. Emergency physicia often work as part of a team, with physicia of other specialties and other membe of the emergency room staff. Emergency physicia must evaluate a wide variety of ailments, sometimes with little to no information. They must be able to think and act quickly to make a tentative diagnosis and determine the appropriate coue of treatment.

? EMTP (Emergency Medicine Training Program) fellows are respoible for : examining, treating and educating patients while under supervision by our senior staff.

Initial assessment and examination of patients (many of whom speak English but not Chinese),

Writing patient charts (in English at all times), monitoring patients, interpreting blood tests, and performing medical procedures with supervision.

They will also attend weekly teaching sessio (four hou per week, in English) and present lectures at those sessio.

Fellows also help develop and implement training programs for other fellows and students.

They are required to regularly sit exams and quizzes, and to rotate through many different departments in the UFH network and outside.

Salary will progress with passing of each tier. An estimated time is one year for each tier but exact timing will depend on the previous experience level and progress of individual physicia.

Advanced tier physicia will be expected to assist with less experienced junior physicia and inter.

Participate in a curriculum written by experienced emergency medicine faculty with previous experience in emergency medicine residency programs in the United States

Be taught by an international team of specialists who have trained in and practice in China and all over the world with other emergency medicine s

Take regular assessments similar to examinatio offered in the United States to emergency medicine residents

Upon Successful Completion

Will be able to work in an English speaking international healthcare environment comfortably

Help train other emergency medicine physicia for UFH and China
