China R&D management role with US interactive electronics business.

Client Details

Our client is a fast growing US business engaging in interactive electronics design and manufacturing. They are currently seeking for a strong R&D Manager with strategic views to set up the technical roadmap for the China operatio as well as providing guidance to the current team.

Description

Reporting to VP Operatio, you will set up the technical roadmap for the China operatio as well as providing guidance to the current team. You will be primarily respoible for all projects and the management of all hardware R&D resources in China operatio. Working closely with both internal and external parties, you will be respoible for maintaining a high level of quality in desig, project deliverables and process to meet and exceed our custome' expectatio. You will lead and upgrade the technical capabilities in mechanical design, electronic design, prototype assembly/NPI and plastic injection molding.

Profile

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, you should have solid project management and product development in injection molding, electronics and assembly. Strong people skills are of key importance and you will need to demotrate the ability to build & lead very effective teams. You should be able to apply the "best practices" to the company and drive for changes when necessary. Fluency in English and Mandarin both spoke and written are required. Excellent communication, time management and work ethics are essential.
