Due to an internal promotion we now have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and innovative peon to join the team in China based in our Shanghai office.
Reporting into the Manager Online Channel, you will oveee any new technology and opportunities that will bring commercial value to the China region. You will manage the online support teams and be respoible for identifying any new functionality that can enhance user experience. You will also be the key driver to project succession and essentially strengthen the Air New Zealand's brand in the China online marketplace.
Key to your success will be your ability to maintain day to day Air New Zealand web content, communicate and co-ordinate effectively with media agencies, as well as supporting the Manager Online Channel to develop the marketing function for the online channel. To be coidered for this role you will have a degree or equivalent with a genuine interest in the travel and tourism industry.
Your drive for result and demotrated project management experience in a complex environment will see you successful in this role as you drive project roadmaps and implementatio. Your performance driven leadehip spirit will see you influencing those around you, driving change where necessary and building talent within the team.

Role Purpose:

?Identify and define online product experiences, optimizing existing products to maximize user experience.
?Eure that the customer experience is mapped, refined and in line with product expectation.
?Contribute to and coordinate information and activities related to full range of product portfolio through the execution of strategic business pla based on analysis of product & profitability, market research, competitive landscape and industry trends;
?Work with cross-functional teams to propose, evaluate, and prioritize product features to shape the development roadmap of online projects.

Coumer experience
?The role represents the key point of contact for the online support teams around the network and in head office for all queries relating to technical issues and challenges and in the development of coumer experience. The role has a high level on liaison and interaction across local and offshore teams.
?Respoible for identifying, testing and adding new functionality to enhance user experience.
?Drive change and innovation through Head Office to support the Regio strategy and local requirements.
?Maintain the local server if applicable, and keep it working condition safely.
Online Travel media partnehips
?Monitor, identify and put in place local market specific partnehips which could bring commercial value.

Skills and Profile:
?Bachelor degree in computer science or IT preferred
?At least three yea of experience working in project management
?OTA background with specific role in product analyst or product manager
?Strategic thinking skills for identifying market opportunities
?Strong analytical and problem solving skills, passion for creating differentiated products and user experiences
