ADAMA R&D Centre in China is looking for a synthetic organic chemist working in a process development team in an effort of developing and optimizing synthetic processes and scaling-up, introducing new processes, as well as improving and troubleshooting existing processes. Successful candidate must have solid organic chemistry knowledge. He should be able to work independently, and be detail oriented with good verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizing skills. The candidate should possess the ability to pull together ideas and suggestio, communicate with the team clearly and get the plan executed on a timely fashion.

Scientific Respoibilities

?Working in an organic process team at ADAMA China R&D.

?Demotrate a certain degree of leadehip in initiating, organizing and driving the project to completion.

?Accountable for improvement and upgrade of existing processes within all stages.

?Contribute to an active project: Execute the synthesis, undetand and solve synthetic problems, modify and optimize the route as necessary by applying modern and classical organic chemistry in both practice and theory.

?Suggest novel synthetic approaches to overcome synthetic challenges and contribute a routine flow of quality ideas.

?Hands on development activities as required to meet project objectives.

?Troubleshoot issues arisen from production and help improving production reliability or cycle time.

?Display expertise in spectroscopic identification and separation of organic compounds.

?Actively collaborate with the same and/or different team membe

?Communicate effectively in verbal and written form on research results, issues and pla. Often this will involve close interactio with ADAMA global R&D teams.

?Keep abreast of Synthetic new approaches, industry trends, competitive information, and anticipate industry changes.

?Conduct laboratory operatio in a safe manner. Maintain familiarity with the Chemical Hygiene Plan. Exhibit safety awareness and safe work practices.

?Contribute scientific and non-scientific ideas that help move projects forward.

?Participate in continuing education coues and/or scientific meetings to improve knowledge and skills in pertinent scientific fields.

?Write reports in a timely fashion and present work clearly in group settings, preferably in English.

?Publish scientific work.

Qualificatio

?M.S or Ph.D. degree in Organic chemistry, experience preferred.

?Highly knowledgeable in synthetic processes, analytical methods operatio and interpretatio (HPLC, GC, NMR etc.)

?Self-starter with clear scientific and analytical thinking capability.

?Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

?Strong math, analytical, and problem solving skills.

?Strong ability to organize priorities and execute accordingly.

?Strong interpeonal skills, including proficiency in verbal and written communication.

?Learn and undetand Product Development methodologies and industry-accepted quality standards
