Duties and Respoibilities

1. Perform all typical purchasing activities such as, but not limited to, identification of qualified sources of supply, obtaining and evaluating proposals, awarding business in a manner that will bring the most value to the company, and performing post-

award administration activities (invoice resolution, dispute resolution, and change orde).

2. Identify and qualify automated equipment supplie in Asia that bring the best value to KSS globally.

3. Conduct peonal and phone interviews with supplier representatives in an effort to undetand their products and services. Conduct Internet research on supplie and/or materials as required.

4.Evaluate supplier proposals, establish negotiation position through research, and negotiate agreements with supplie that eure fair and reasonable prices.

5.Establish reporting processes that will allow coistent and timely evaluation of cost savings goals.

6.Provide guidance and support to the Global Purchasing Manager of Capital Equipment and MRO.

7.Conduct necessary follow-up and expediting activities to eure materials, services, and equipment are received in accordance with established schedules and expectatio.

8.Develop and maintain an adequate file of equipment, product, and services pricing information to assist requisitione in obtaining the latest technical product and pricing information. Serve in an advisory capacity to assist other departments in obtaining product specificatio, quotatio, and delivery schedule information.

9.Arrange and participate in meetings between supplier representatives and/or company peonnel.

10.Input purchase orde and purchasing data into operating system, generate purchase orde, and proof read for accuracy.

11.Monitor supplier base to eure that material quality objectives are met, taking corrective action as required.

12.Generate meaningful and timely reports and data related to the purchasing function so that problems are brought into sharp focus, pinpointing areas for potential improvement, while providing for a gauge of progress, and enabling senior management

and othe the ability to evaluate progress and performance.

13. Develop procurement strategies coistent with company objectives.

14. Participate in make or buy analysis activities as required.

15. Support cross-functional efforts with project management, senior management, and the supply base by incorporating value analysis techniques into new equipment and product selection and use..

16. Complete any other task assigned by the Purchasing Manager.

Experience Required:

1. Good overall knowledge of the manufacturing processes, cost and price analysis, negotiating techniques, and logistics.

2. Excellent written, communication, peuasion, confrontational, negotiation, and computer skills

3. Be able to excel in a team environment, and serve as a liaison between using departments of the company and supplie.

4. Be socially adaptable, accurate, dependable, and have integrity beyond reproach.

5. Good English skill in both writing and speaking.
