Commercial objectives and pla formulated and safeguarded

Achieving the commercial objectives for the allocated accounts and/or regio. The main points in this regard are:

- Based on market data and sales analyses, drawing up a budget and monthly rolling forecast.

­- Drawing account pla for key accounts (particularly custome with several locatio in various countries).

­- Supplying relevant information for the formation of strategy, communication / promotional activities, price strategy, including pricing, payment conditio and management of product range.

­- Discussing pla and information with superior.

- ­Presenting and substantiating pla to Sales & Marketing to promote acceptance and realisation.

­- Reporting on the progress of interim activities, also in English, including visits, monthly reports and rolling forecasts.

Market and marketing research carried out

Researching and analysing the market based on (historical) sales data, analyses of the competition and market demand, and market and marketing developments. The main points in this regard are:

­- Collecting and analysing historical and expected purchasing patter at custome or in regio, both in quantitative and qualitative terms.

­- Mapping trends and new customer needs.

­- Detecting so called weak signals and latent customer needs.

­- Mapping the competition.

­- Investigating and implementing sales opportuni-ties for existing products in new market seg-ments or related markets, the foregoing in co-operation with product management and communicatio and promotio.

­- Actively following market developments, in-cluding participation in (international) trade fai and symposia and an active involvement with the subject literature.

Acquisition carried out

Tracking and advising (potential) custome in current and new market segments with respect to the purchase of product concepts, products and applicatio, taking into account products’ technical aspects, the foregoing also in two foreign languages (English, German or French). The main points in this regard are:

­- Identifying opportunities and acquiring information concerning the customer’s specific wishes, applicatio and product related organisation.

­- Assessing, in outline, application and product opportunities.

­- Acquiring information and discussing product related aspects with the product manager.

­- Providing targeted initial advice to the customer by making the added value of the product clear in terms of cost savings, application opportunities and service, duly taking into account the customer’s possibilities and wishes.

­- Bringing in the product manager in the case of more in depth product related issues.

­- Issuing offe.

Sales contracts fol-lowed up

Monitoring the settlement of customer orde. The main points in this regard are:

­-Making operational agreements concerning settlement of the order with customer services, the product manager, logistics, production and so on.

­-Coordinating and monitoring the progress of activities.

­-Monitoring agreements with custome, detect-ing deviatio and making additional agree-ments with internal parties and custome.

­-Following purchasing patter and converting these in accordance with agreements.

­-Monitoring the operating capital, including payment violatio, payment terms and customer stocks to guarantee supply.

Complaints settled

Bearing respoibility for the adequate settlement of complaints and providing solutio, duly maintaining the customer relatiohip.

­-Coulting various disciplines, including product management, customer services and so on.

­-Commercial settlement of claims.

­-Handling of complaints to overall completion vis à vis the customer.

Business relatio managed

Maintaining and expanding the (commercial) network with accounts and other relevant contacts in the branch of industry concerned (coultants, component supplie and the like):

­-Both at managerial and shop floor level.

­-Multinationals; often custome with several locatio spread across the world and complex DMU.

­-Various disciplines, including production, procurement, general management, R,D &I, marketing and so on.

­-Guiding and cooperating with agents or distributo.
