MET position: lighting project engineer

Job description:

Under general supervision, manages execution and timely completion of engineering projects by analyzing project scope and determining project specificatio, establishing test programs for product investigatio, analyzing test programs for adequacy and sequence, examining samples for compliance with standard requirements, and preparing reports for clients. Assists in the development of standard requirements, test methods, and test equipment. May act as project handler with respoibility of opening, maintenance, completion, and closing of assigned new work engineering projects. May act as reviewer with respoibility of initial review, status review, and final technical review of all new work engineering projects. Resolves engineering issues raised by client and maintai good relatiohip with client. Performs other duties as directed.

Job requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above in electrical, electronic or related discipline.

2. Good command of spoken and written English.

3. At least 3 yea related working experience in lighting products in product safety related field.

4. Familiar with UL 153, UL 1598, UL 1573, UL 1993, UL 8750 and their corresponding CSA standards.

5. A team player with strong see of customer focus, planning & organization, good interpeonal and communication skills.

6. Willing to study different kinds of standards and work under pressure for new product certification.
