Overview

Global Tech IP is seeking a self-motivated, organised and creative Project Manager. You will help run the UK-China Agri-tech Newton Network+ which will manage funding for a series of UK initiated projects over 4 yea aimed at helping to modernise China’s agricultural sector and meet the challenges brought on by environmental degradation and urbanisation, with solutio focused in areas like satellite imaging, remote seing, smart seo and data modelling.

The role will be both challenging and complex and will involve stakeholde in both China and the UK. You will help develop a Chinese network, manage partnering activities, organise workshops and conferences, help develop a bilingual online collaboration platform, and support the commercialisation of innovatio developed through the programme. You will report to a UK management board, a UK Programme Manager and a China manager.

Requirements

Program Management experience involving multiple simultaneous projects

Able to plan and lead complex projects, solve problems, and meet deadlines

Computer skills and knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and CRM systems

Strong organizational, analytical, interpeonal, and oral/writing communication skills

Excellent English – both written and spoken – and able to tralate effectively

Background in agriculture or related life sciences preferred

Reporting, Hou, and Salary:

Coordinates activities and schedule with both China and UK management team

Hou: Monday through Friday, flex hou with occasional late hou and weekends
