Job overview
The Business Development Manager, CATS Specialist, China role will join the existing sales team in China and will contribute to the sales and marketing activity to achieve CATS sales targets within budget. This role will include direct sales activity and assistance with conveion of enquiries, for a range of high value academic and English language programmes, through:
-Management of desk-based conveion activity for all prospective CATS students applying via the direct and agent sales channels from South China.
-Coultative sales calls to students (and their parents) that have applied to or made an enquiry about a programme of study at a Cambridge Education Group College centre.
-Direct sales activity at exhibitio, events and at agent offices as required.

Key respoibilities and capabilities
-Work closely with the regional sales teams to follow-up leads generated by educational agents and through direct activities at exhibitio and events
-Management of desk-based conveion activity for all prospective CATS students applying via direct and agent sales channels.
-In co-ordination with the regional sales team, inteive sales activity by attendance at exhibitio and events, telephone and via e-media to meet student recruitment targets.
-Eure that direct sales enquiries, direct applicatio are converted via focused follow-up activity.
-Collaborate with the admissio team to eure fast, efficient and effective follow-up of student leads and applicatio to improve conveion rates, attain sales outcomes and provide high standards of customer service.
-Record the details of all sales activity after each call in the Cambridge Education Group CRM system, euring a high degree of accuracy and giving clear visibility of results and the current sales pipeline.
-Liaise with the Marketing Manager to optimise the generation of high quality sales leads.
Performance Measures
-Achievement of the termly and annual intake sales targets for recruitment of students from the South China.
-Conveion rates for students applying to Cambridge Education Group through educational agents or direct channels.
