Musco is seeking to fill a current opening for a Sales Representative. From youth sports fields to professional stadiums, Musco is the industry leader in sports lighting. For nearly 40 yea, Musco has specialized in the design and manufacture of sports lighting systems, using metal halide and LED technologies to significantly lower energy coumption, while reducing the environmental impact of spill light and glare.
As a team member of our subsidiary, Musco Lighting Shanghai Co., Ltd, you will partner with a global team of experts to plan, complete, and maintain cost-effective, trouble-free lighting solutio for our custome in China. In the Sales Representative position, you will be the primary in-peon contact and coultant to our custome as we identify the best solution for their lighting needs.
Respoibilities include:
?Develop and maintain strong communication networks and relatiohips with contracto, coultants, and end-use in the market place
?Effectively recognize opportunities to present the values that are unique to Musco’s products and capabilities
?Identify and strengthen key relatiohips and decision make in order to maximize Musco’s success in selling a project
?Negotiate prices and agreements including credit terms and collection
?Eure that pertinent project communicatio and projectio in sales database are accurate and up-to-date
?Assist in development of a long-term, strategic approach to achieving sales goals in the China’s marketplace.
Qualified applicants will have:
?a college degree, preferably in Business, Communicatio, Marketing, or Engineering discipline
?the ability to speak, write, and read fluent English and Mandarin Chinese
?experience and a track record of success in a sales environment that includes competitive bidding
?strong communication skills, both written and verbal
?the ability to be self-motivated, and thrive in an environment with a team approach to problem-solving
?the ability to travel domestically and internationally, with some night/weekend work required
This position will be based from a team office in Minhang District, Shanghai, China. Frequent travel to customer and project sites with some night/weekend work will be required. There will be occasional travel to Musco’s Iowa-based headquarte in the U.S. for training and networking with colleagues, with several coecutive weeks or months of training at the beginning of employment, depending on the level of prior sales experience of the final candidate.
