Position: Manufacturing Engineering Manager (ME Manager)

Experiences in mainly SMT + electronics Box Build/Assembly environments will definitely NOT match the requirements

Company overview

TTI Zhuhai, a world class manufacturer of tape measuring products, is seeking a manufacturing engineering manager. The ME manager will lead and direct the ME department and work very closely with TTI Zhuhai Production, NPD, Maintenance, Quality department and so on for all manufacturing supports.

Key Respoibilities

1.Support the manufacturing of tape measure and components at TTI Zhuhai.

2.Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods and process driving on quality, cost, delivery and yield improvement.

3.Work closely with Maintenance team for maintaining and improving all equipment/process related efficiency, cycle times, capacity and capabilities. Work closely with Maintenance, Quality and Production team for evaluating and qualifying all new equipment.

4.Support new project development for reviewing the manufacturing feasibility of product specification and design change, and Dfx engagement, for new capacities and capabilities readiness for mass production.

5.Lead daily production trouble shooting, Kaizen, cost improvement and value engineering projects, and lean manufacturing implementation. Support quality improvement and scrap reduction.

6.Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, desig layout of equipment, workspace for maximum efficiency and automation implementation.

7.Work with US engineering, TTI Zhuhai maintenance, and NPD team for the advanced manufacturing engineering.

8.Coach and develop team membe on their knowledge and working skills.

Desired Education and Experience Requirement

1.Bachelor degree in engineering related field required. (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical degree).

2.Minimum 10 yea combined engineering experience in roles such as manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering and maintenance engineering.

3.Minimum 5 yea hands-on leadehip and/or manger experience in a JIT manufacturing environment with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Green Belt

4.Multinational Company experience needed. Awareness of western culture and cross country management.

5.Ability to work with cross functional teams

Technical and Leadehip Requirements

1.Strong Mechanical aptitude, such as semi-automatiofixture design – must

2.Fluent communication in English and Mandarin - must

3.Good knowledge of lean manufacturing principle and method such as JIT (VSM, Takt time, continuous flow, pull system, quick change over, integrated logistics, Built-in-Quality (Automatic stops, Peon machine separation, Error proofing, In-station quality control, 5 Whys), Operation Stability (Leveled production, standardized work, visual management, TPM, Kaizen), PFMEA, project planning and implementation - must

4.Strong problem solving & analytical skills - must

5.Experiences, knowledge and skills in heat treatment, painting and printing – a big plus

6.Knowledge of Six Sigma and ability to use Six Sigma tools to problem solving. Green Belt is fine.

7.Familiar with its’ quoting process and structure.

8.Experiences, knowledge and skills in injection molding – a plus

9.Able to use 2D CAD such as AutoCAD. Good at 3D CAD is plus.

理想的教育和经验要求：

1、工程相关专业本科以上学历。（机械工程、工业工程、制造工程或同等技术学位）。

2、至少10年以上制造工程、工业工程及维修工程等工程经验。

3、5年以上实际领导和/或六西格玛和精益制造的绿化带，在JIT生产环境管理经验

4、跨国公司需要的经验。西方文化意识与跨国经营。

技术和领导要求

1、具有较强的机械能力，如半自动化/夹具设计

2、流利的英语和普通话沟通能力

3。良好的精益生产的原理和方法，如JIT知识（VSM，节拍时间，连续流动，拉动系统，快速换型，综合物流、制造质量（自动停止，人机分离，防错，站的质量控制，5个为什么），运行的稳定性（平稳化生产，标准化的工作，目视管理、TPM、改善），PFMEA，项目规划与实施必须

4、较强的问题解决和分析能力

5、热处理、喷漆、印刷等经验、知识和技能，有较大的经验

6、6s的知识和使用6s工具解决问题的能力。

7、熟悉其报价流程和结构。

8、注塑成型经验，知识和技能。

9、能够使用AutoCAD等二维CAD。良好的三维计算机辅助设计经验。
