Duties and Respoibilities

* Build a strategic vendor base for prioritized categories

* Assess a vendor’s ability to ship on time, provide quality goods, and to produce their products at costs that meet the economic requirements

* Find, evaluate, and select vendo to supply products

* Drive product line from sourcing of suitable, qualified vendo through product costing, sampling, and quality testing

* Create quality standard working closely with Quality Engineer and vendo

* Coordinate with other teams to meeting all the requirement for the shipment and coordinate with all the teams for problem solving

* Identify new products that would enhance the opportunity of increasing volume

* Provide competitor iight though discussio with vendo and fit-hand knowledge

* Complete all sourcing activities in a timely manner and driving efficiencies whenever possible

* Collaborate closely with US team, shanghai quality team, etc

Job Qualificatio – Education and Experience

* Minimum of 8+ yea of relevant and progressive buying experience in retail industry or 3 yea’ experience in project management and/or new product development role.

* Bachelor’s Degree required

* Experience in tool category will be preferred.

* Experience in a product management or purchasing role with a demotrated ability to drive product development. Knowledge of tool category will be a plus.

* Coiderable attention to detail and see of urgency to eure all the follow up and problem solving in a timely manner

* Sourcing merchandise through new and existing vendo, trips and tradeshows

* Strong English written and oral proficiency is a must

* Must be proficient with compute and automated process and systems

* Ideal candidate must be a self-starter, results driven.

* Strong see of urgency, collaborative team style, and ability to quickly adapt to changes in priorities
