Job Description:
Sales Manager is respoible for planning and implementing compreheive internal and external programs that increase revenue and profits utilizing the existing sales force and expanding or modifying the team as needed. This role is in a key position to formulate innovative business development and sales strategies with our leadehip team. Product offering, pricing and selling strategies are key functio of this position as well as decision making tied to making financial decisio that affect margin and inventory. The VP of Sales will deal with an array of potential custome--direct and indirect--and will possess a high level of sophistication and ability to deal with each of these groups. Respoibilities:
The successful candidate will have respoibilities that include, but are not limited to:
· Execute Company strategic pla within USA (also North American if required).
· Respoible for delivering the targeted quarterly and annual revenue and margin contributio
· Identify project and client opportunities while managing programs and assisting with the preparation of marketing materials and campaig
· Establish a network of custome offering solar photovoltaic modules and residential rooftop, commercial rooftop and ground mount solar photovoltaic packages.
· Appoint sales and marketing couel and general staff support to all departments within the organization
· Assess operational issues in regards to competitiveness, staying current in terms of trends, innovatio and pricing
· Stay up to date with external and internal developments in the environment for identifying new market segments
· Carry out feasibility studies/business pla for product or service improvement, customizing, re-modeling and new product / sales / service development
· Manage specific programs such as the Residential Sales Programs in USA
· Participate in developing a process to gather continuous feedback from clients
· Organize and implement training sessio for staff and clients
· Government, Industry and Media Relatio respoibility
· Respoible for planning and monitoring budgets
· Eure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the US Solar Code of Business Conduct.
· Adhere to all health and safety rules and company policies.
· Complete other duties and projects as assigned.Qualificatio and Experience:
· Minimum four (4) year’s Management experience
· Minimum four (4) year’s Sales experience
· Minimum four (4) year’s Business Development experience
· Minimum three (3) year’s Solar industry experience
· Entrepreneurial background in a Sales capacity
· Working experience in the Commercial Building and/or Residential Sales and building industry preferred
· Government and Media relatio experience
· Possess the following peonal qualities: integrity, creativity, high standards, commitment, ethical values, and achievement oriented
· Excellent organizational, strategic, planning and implementing skills
· Ability to quickly learn detailed information about solar energy, the solar industry and US requirements
· Excellent management writing and verbal communication skills
· Excellent interpeonal relatio and demotrated ability to work with othe effectively in teams
· Strong presentation, written, and verbal skills
· Proven skills to interact effectively with employees in order to direct work flow, assess performance and assign duties
· Able to create realistic schedules and meet deadlines under stress and interruptio
· Confident with decision making in regards to determining project guidelines, purpose, following through and completion
· Undetanding of financial reports including budgetary guidelines and project expenditures
· Computer literacy, including high proficiency of MS Office applicatio
· High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reaso or facts
· Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects
· Self motivated and able to work independently and proactively without supervision.
