POSITION BRIEF:

Focus and lead efforts on maintaining and improving supplier quality, process and procedures efficiency at existing supplie and assessing new potential supplie.

Eure the supply base undetands and is in compliance with FJI requirements, aim to work with actual, new technologies and new product launches

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOIBILITIES:

1.Supplier Quality Management and Supplier Process Improvement

a)Support/Develop/Verify compliance to control pla and process via supplier audits; support/develop improvement/corrective supplier action pla from audit findings and eure completion.

b)Support on-site supplier development programs to help key supplie improve their processes and achieve productivity and quality performance goals.

c)Use standard supplier assessment and evaluatio plan tools.

d)Identify new supplie in alignment with FJI product performance requirements, sourcing decisio, help to improve the supply actual base.

e)Identify opportunities for quality and productivity improvement and communicate to Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing.

f)Support supplier performance metrics and overall supplier performance.

g)Support cross-functional launch team desigmanufacturability supplier review to assure success of products.

2.Supplier Qualification and Disqualification

a)Develop and communicate Approved/Disqualified Supplier List

b)Manage supplier scorecard and identify repeat quality issues by supplier

c)Maintai authority to terminate supplie as needed.

3.Corrective action process

a)Support and participate actively in QMS meetings – supplier quality issues.

b)Support containment, identification of root cause, implementation of corrective action.

c)Itruct-support supplie on the use of a corrective action process and quality tools and techniques.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIO:

A.B.S. in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering and advance degree preferred, English proficiency written / oral.

B.High degree of technical expertise in materials and manufacturing processes in general casting processes preferably.

C.Minimum five yea engineering, quality, supplier development, or related experience with an aerospace or automotive firm.

D.Expert in TS 16949.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

E.Proficiency with data analytics and in quality analysis tools such as PPAP, APQP, 8D, FMEA, Control Pla, Audit Supplier Forms.

F.Undetanding of manufacturing engineering and practices including six-sigma and lean.

G.Excellent communication and organization skills in a cross-functional team environment.

H.Able to guide, mentor and train associates and supplie.

I.Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, able to be independent, critical and accept criticism.

J.Ability to travel as much as 75% of the time.
