DESCRIPTIORESPOIBILITIES:

Job Description

General Purpose:

Respoible for designing, validating, and implementing operational,

well-functioning and cost effective jigs and fixtures in order to

support optimal and reliable part/product measurements and carry out

gauge R&R, from prototype development throughout full-scale

production.

Principle Accountabilities:

* Define within the project team the part / product measurement method

including MSOP (Measurement Standard Operation Procedure) (what to

measure, how to measure, equipment and tools.

* Develop fixture / jig concept based on MSOP.

* Detailed design of fixtures and jigs, by applying complex design

practices in metal and plastic fabrication, using soft tooling, 3D

printing and similar processes.

* Able to undetand part and product functionality with purpose to

design operational, well-functioning and cost effective jigs and

fixtures.

* Able to read and undetand 2D drawings (dimeio, tolerances,

geometric tolerances, datums) in order to tralate the available data

into a fixture / jig design able to carry out measurements and tests

according to specificatio.

Work with other membe of the development team to support corporate

design initiatives

Education / Experience

Typically requires 10 yea of experience in engineering in the high

technology electronics industry or related area
