DESCRIPTIORESPOIBILITIES:

Job Description

Sr molding process manager

1. Control and manage all NPI engineering activities for plastics.

1 FMEA, PFD and OI management

2 FOT evaluation, root cause analysis, corrective actio and

Production Part Approval (PPAP)

3 engineering data involvement during Quotation stage such as: Cycle

time, machine tonnage, part weight (shot weight) etc

2. ESI (Early Supplier Involvement) on plastics tools, fixtures,

materials and other resources necessary for the successful

manufacturing of the product.

1 Lead and coordinate the technical discussio with supplier

2 Review tooling DFM and and provide ideas for plastic improvement.

3 FOT evaluation, root cause analysis, corrective actio and

Production Part Approval (PPAP) +FAI

4 Conduct Scientific Injection Molding (SIM) at NPI stage such as: Gate

Balancing, Hold pressure Study, Viscosity Curve study and other SIM

requirements.

3. Introduce system and work flow procedure.

1 FMEA and OI management

2 Cross function with other units for continuous process improvement

3 Development of manufacturing process parameter after PPAP completio

Process ME Job Description (Secondary respoibility):

1. Recommend improvement action on projects with emphasis on cost,

process time productivity, 5S and safety.

2. Attend meeting in concern to process and quality abnormalities.

3. Coordinate and perform yield analysis assistance with production

technicia and looking for improvement

Opportunities in terms of Yield, cost, manpower reduction.

4. Sustaining parts support

5. Supplier support

6. Provide trainings if necessary.

7. Monthly cycle time monitoring and improvement.

8. BOM Update on all 4 building tools running MP (B7, B10, B15 &

B17)

9. OEE support (B7, B10, B15 & B17)
