Position: Database and System Administrator

Report to: Group ERP Manager and IT Manager in China

Location: Beijing or Shanghai

Mission

? Analyze, design and implement IT business solutio using ERP, BI and CRM systems

? Apply problem-solving skills to actively support business needs and requirements on issues related to the use, design & development of IT business solutio

? Be part of a small international team located at Sofia supporting multiple worldwide ERP locatio and use

? Keep database up to date

? Respoible for database design and development

? Design maintenance procedure and uure there operation

? Manage database security, integrity and backup procedure

? testing and modifying databases to eure that they operate reliably

? Archiving data

? Manage application interfaces

? Manage batch application and scheduler application

Main tasks:

? Daily follow-up of application interfaces

? Eure regular check on database integrity and apply necessary modification

? Develop and implement system scripts

? Eure backup integrity

? Eure database good performance

? Participate to database development and design together with ERP application enginee

Profile:

? Candidates must be patient, meticulous and logical in their work and capable of prioritizing tasks. Good problem solving, analytical, administrative, organizational, communication and interpeonal skills are also important.

? Familiarity with computer operating systems and database technology (design, software and structure) is essential. Technical expertise and previous computer industry work experience is necessary.

? Knowledge on Progress Open Edge database

? Knowledge on SQL database

? Knowledge on .Net, XML, Tomcat is a plus

? English (French is a plus)

This position will be reporting functionally to our Group ERP Manager in Geneva and hierarchically to our IT Manager in Beijing.
