ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOIBILITIES

1. Provide Document control with a complete component design package including drawings and database

2. Work concurrently with other teams through the design phase of a program. Work to provide a design that not only meets the customer’s criteria, but is also of high quality, cost effective, and manufacturability.

3. Support production discrepancies by incorporating fixes into subsequent revisio in a timely manner.

4. Record all ideas, sketches, and pertinent conveatio in Design Engineering approved Project Notebook.

5. Use SPC data collected in production in subsequent programs to eure continuing improvement in desig.

6. Be respoible for directing the Design Technicia on their assigned projects.

7. Oveee assembly and test of engineering prototypes.

8. Stay abreast of the latest technology and techniques to provide desig that are competitive and cost effective.

9. Assigned to projects of limited scope, where analysis of situation or data can be readily obtained.

10. Stay abreast of the latest technology and techniques to provide desig that are competitive and cost effective.

11 .Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulatio associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

12. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from four-year College or univeity required

2. Plus 2 - 4 yea related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3. Possess Pro-Engineer CAD skills

4. Communicate with English

5. Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulatio.

6. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

7. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questio from groups of manage, clients, custome, and the general public.

8. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

9. Ability to apply concepts such as fractio, percentages, ratios, and proportio to practical situatio.

10. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusio.

11. Ability to interpret an exteive variety of technical itructio in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
