For its Shanghai office, VELVET is looking for a talented and enthusiastic copywriter to join our company.

Ideally you come from a journalistic background with at least 12 months of professional experience in luxury and watch industry.

You’re proficient in editing, writing, and publishing a range of communicatio in Chinese on various social media and marketing touch points, including press releases, corporate communicatio, websites, product brochures, advertising campaig, marketing emails, and etc. This position requires all levels for copywriting including but not limited to development of original content, editing or rewriting of existing content, and tralatio (English to Chinese).

You will work on travel and entertainment brands, cooperating with our creative, digital strategists and marketing teams.

Passion for blogging, twitting and interacting with influence and media is mandatory.

Respoibilities

-Support and work closely with the team to undetand client brief and needs

-Assist on online strategy’s adaption for HK/Macaumarket

-Create original and creative content for Foreigocial platforms(Facebook & Itagram) and collaterals (newslette, website, etc.)

-Daily social media listening, reply and coumer engagement

-Proofread, edit, and rewrite existing Traditional Chineseand English material to eure accuracy of message

-Cooperate with both internal and external parties and provide input on content development

-Support the team in other ad hoc activities including research, project management and strategy development

Required experience

-A fitcopywriting experience, preferably from a PR agency or similar

-Cantonese speaker with English proficiency, Chinese will be a plus

-Well-rounded copywriting skills with experience in various industries

-Undetand of all forms of social media interactio (blogs, forums, communities, etc.)

-Creative mind, detail oriented, and a multi-tasker

-A deep interest for Travel industry and ecosystem in China and international

-In-depth social media knowledge and digital content creation expertise is a big plus
