Reliability Engineer

Job Respoibility:

· Works as REL/DQT key team member on Ultrasound Shanghai projects team to contribute to the releases with solid planning, execution, and reporting for NPI and/or sustaining projects on specific required DQT and REL tasks. Draft, maintain required DQT/REL plan per QMS, and integrate the DQT/REL plan within project level plan. Respoible for eure all needed tests (per customer, regulatory, QMS requirement) included in the REL/DQT plan.

·Drives implementation and execution of planned REL/DQT tests and eure activities done on time on target per project plan.

Capable of handle complex problems by developing a workable strategy with solid plan with an executable sequence of well-defined sub-problems in REL-DQT activities, the specified owne, clear roles and respoibilities, and deliver timeline/dates.

· Works with other Philips Ultrasound functio outside R&D and with 3rd party whenever needed to deliver results on target and on time.

·Works with senior engineering staff for sound judgment and making decisio.

· Pro-actively seeks out, lear, applies and shares with othe new technical skills on an ongoing basis.

· Acquires skills and techniques in problem solving planning and can apply the skills to complete assigned tasks and team activities

·Executes daily work meeting Philips Ultrasound QMS standards and with strong compliance of the company’s product/traducer creation processes and change procedure, undetand and capable of work through development phases, complete assigned deliverables, participate in phase reviews processes

· Respoible for the assigned tasks’ quality of work, reliability, schedule (if appropriate), cost and delegation of tasks on one or more modules.

·Supports and participates in Philips localization and cost reduction projects and conduct components and traduce testing

·Utilizes theoretical modeling techniques and can apply to solve well defined problems and deliver good results in

1.Complete assigned tasks of plan, execute, and report results in required DQT and REL activities in new product development projects.

2.Solves problems found during REL/DRT events, contributes to issues’ root cause analysis and works with engineering team to find solutio. Complete assigned tasks in REL/DQT’s equipment upgrade, repair, improvements, and life cycle.

3.Participate in and provide input for pear reviews of engineering desig and development

4.Supports supplier management team to qualify vendo for traduce components for meeting REL targets. Works as engineering contributor with engineering membe to eure supplie’ deliverables meet specificatio and reliability requirements.

5.Undetands the process and how to build from overall product requirements to finished products: tralatescustome’ requirements into product concepts and desig, implement and test the modules or components, to eure reliable and efficiency

6. Communicates with Philips Ultrasound engineering/projects and REL/DQT team membe in Andover, Bothell, and Reedsville to help resolve issues and test equipment support issues

Qualification:

· Requires Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering field such as Industry Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in equivalent field

·Demotrated experience in the relevant industry in the field of traduce testing (REL, DQT), knowledge of manufacturing of medical ultrasound traduce is a plus

·Minimum of 3 yea of experience in product reliability testing and data analysis in manufacturing and/or product development; familiar with the process of REL, DQT, production manufacturing and quality management, product testing

·Good skills in using state-of-art test equipment such as oscilloscope, signal generator, etc. Familiar with Excel VBA

·Demotrated history of solid occupational ethics

·Solid experience in conducting statistical analysis of data and turning analysis result to solution, with reasonable guideline.

·Ability to operate independently with reasonable supervision; has technical skill for issues resolving and troubleshooting

·Acts as a mentor to EIs, EIIs in the engineering team, and stee skills to focus on technical and project problem solving skills;

·Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively communicate and/or present complex technical issues to enginee and manage

·Proficient in both Chinese & English; CET-6 or better
