General summary
QA Manager is respoible for administering the company quality program in accordance with customer and company requirements. This position serves in a cross functional capacity and provides the resources to assure that appropriate quality levels are designed into the products and processes, that controls are in place to monitor compliance to specificatio and assure that the plant is focused on continuous improvement.
Essential Job Respoibilities
1. Interface with Plant Manager to implement and improve quality system and procedures.
2. Directly respoible for implementation and maintenance of the company quality system, reporting on the performance of the quality system and review areas for improvement
3. Coordinate the cross functional respoibilities for the finalization of PPAP’s, FMEA’s Control pla, process flow charts, work itructio and ipectiotest pla.
4. Act as liaison with external parties (custome, registrar) on matte relating to quality.
5. Provide ipection standards and maintain their controlled status.
6. Participate directly on all matte pertaining to the effective resolution of any non compliance issues – internal, customer or third party registration.
7. Provide employee training for quality function.
8. Serves as management representative and customer representative for TS16949
9. Direct the activity of the Quality department including Quality Engineering, TS16949 system compliance, ipectiotest, calibration, document control, auditing, and continuous improvement.
10.Organize and promote plant wide quality improvement efforts.
11.Monitor, issue request for corrective action and record supplier quality issues.
12.Comply with EHS system’s requirements
Qualificatio
1. Bachelor degree, preferably in an engineering technology field
2. 6-10 yea experience in automotive quality
3. Good undetanding of TS16949
4. Excellent problem solving skills
5. Must have good computer skills – Word, Excel, SPC software
6. Excellent oral and written communicatio skills especially for customer interaction
7. Good English skill in written and oral
8. Carry out duties with limited / no supervision
9. Able to travel and work overtime
