Celanese’s wholly owned, integrated chemical complex is located at the Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park, north of the Yangtze River. Celanese Nanjing Integrated Chemical Complex is Celanese’s largest integrated complex in the world. The complex, incorporating seven units with Celanese’s leading technologies and highest environmental and safety standards, is an exciting new investment and marks a major milestone for Celanese’s operatio in China and Asia. The seven units at the complex include capacity for acetic acid, vinyl acetate monomer, acetic anhydride, vinyl acetate emulsio, Celstran long fiber-reinforced thermoplastic (LFRT), GUR ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and a polymer compounding unit.
