2012年10月22日,东风汽车集团股份有限公司与德国格特拉克国际公司签订了合资经营合同暨低扭矩双离合器变速箱(DCT)联合开发协议,决定共同在武汉组建集汽车变速箱研发、制造、销售功能为一体的合资公司。
2013年3月13日,东风格特拉克汽车变速箱有限公司(东风格特拉克)在武汉正式注册成立。一期总投资1.2亿欧元,拟建成25万台的变速箱能力及研发中心,主要产品为DCT双离合器变速箱。计划于2016年第一季度实现量产。未来,东风格特拉克将建成年产100万台变速箱的能力,以及建立独立的变速箱研发中心。
DCT双离合自动变速箱代表了当今最先进的技术,符合未来变速箱发展的趋势,符合国家对乘用车环保、节能、低碳排放的法规要求。首款联合开发的低扭矩6DCT150 双离合自动变速箱,是国际上首次开发的一款全新产品,合作双方共同拥有知识产权,并在国内市场具有独占性。未来还将联合开发更大扭矩的双离合自动变速箱,以及MT手动变速箱产品。
On 22nd of October 2012, Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd(DFG) and GETRAG International GmbH(GETRAG) entered into the Joint Venture Contract, i.e. the Joint Development Agreement of Low Torque Dual Clutch Tramission (DCT), and decided to jointly establish an all in one joint venture company with the ability to research and develop, manufacture, and sell vehicle tramissio in Wuhan.
Dongfeng Getrag Tramission Co.Ltd (Dongfeng Getrag). was officially registered and established in Wuhan on 13th March 2013. Phase 1 investment is 120 million Euros in total, planning to achieve annual traimission production capacity of 250,000 units and establish a research and development centre, the main product is Dual Clutch Tramission (DCT). Mass production is schedueled to be launched in Q1 2016. In the future, Dongfeng Getrag is expected to achieve annual traimission production capacity of 1 million units and establish independent tramission research and development centre.

The fit joint developed product of low torque 6DCT150 Dual Clutch Tramission is a brand new product worldwide. The intellectual property right belongs to both parties and the product is exclusive in China market. Dual Clutch Tramission with higher torque range and manual tramission products will also be jointly developed in the future.
