As an integrated optoelectronics group, Jenoptik operates in five divisio: Lase & Material Processing, Optical Systems, Industrial Metrology, Traffic Solutio and Defee & Civil Systems. Jenoptik custome around the world primarily include companies in the semiconductor and semiconductor equipment industries, the automotive and automotive supplier industries, the medical technology, security and defee technology industries as well as the aviation industry.

The Industrial Metrology division has been represented in the Chinese market since the mid1980s. In 1998 a representative Office was opened in China’s capital Peking, followed by offices in Shanghai and Chongqing in 1999 and 2005. Teams from all the five divisio now have a local presence.

Today, Jenoptik(Shanghai)Precision Itrument and Equipment Co., Ltd. has employed a staff of more than 100 peonnel in China, the majority of these at the Shanghai location in the Pudong Industrial Zone. At the headquarte in Shanghai, Jenoptik now has a state-of-the-art location covering more than 4,616 square mete over three floo. The new location includes large production area for projects and a service center with repair workshop to provide even better service to our custome.
