1898: Historical fit branch established in Shanghai by Banque de l’Indochine (subsequently Banque Indosuez)

1981: Fit representative office opened in Beijing by Credit Lyonnais

2004: Credit Agricole Indosuez and the investment and financing arm of Credit Lyonnais (BFI) merged to give birth to CA CIB Corporate and Investment Bank, 100% owned by Credit Agricole SA group.

2009: CA CIB (China) Limited was incorporated as a local bank in China.
