北京阳光创译语言翻译有限公司由中国地质大学(北京)的教授和专家发起成立，是一家经北京市工商局正式批准注册成立的专业翻译公司，于2010年9月加入中国翻译协会。公司由最初仅有6人的翻译团队发展至今，历时5年，目前已发展成为一支由精通各语种各专业的翻译人员、译审人员、排版软件应用人员和优秀的管理人员组成的专业队伍。2010年11月，作为中国国际矿业大会的语言供应商，在大会中承担了大量翻译任务。同年受中国地质调查局委托，组织编译了《2010世界矿业年鉴》等系列重量级的地学著作。

公司拥有专兼职翻译人员300余名，核心译审人员50余名，翻译和译审队伍由来自斯坦福大学、密歇根大学、迈阿密大学、莫斯科大学、东京大学、北京大学、清华大学、中国石油大学、中国地质大学、北京外国语大学、对外经贸大学、南开大学等国内外高等学府的优秀人员组成，其中80％以上拥有硕士、博士学历。译员均拥有丰富的翻译工作经验以及翻译或行业方面的专业学位，语熟练掌握各国语言特点及行业术语。

美国事业部于2008年9月在美国俄亥俄州正式成立。该部门最显著的三大特点是：
