POSITION: Regional Sales Manager - Chengdu
This position is to lead, manage and develop the whole Chengdu Sales team to achieve United Business objective for Chengdu, to use high level of visibility in local community as conduit for promotion of company messaging and new business development.
KEY EXPECTATIO:
• Develops a highly skilled Sales team through expert coaching on United’s value propositio, Pipeline and territory management, account strategy development, call planning, sales process execution and tool utilization.
• Accomplishes mutual customer and United value by euring account manager led business development processes are built on quality account analysis, careful determination of United and customer objectives for the account, development of compelling rationale, and skillful negotiation with key decision make including purchasing manage and / or committees.
• Be committed to developing Sales skills excellence in othe. Maintain complete and current knowledge of the account pipeline, issues and priorities.
• Exemplifies the highest ethical standards and customer care exemplifying United’s core values.
• Carefully coordinated own participation in a selling processes with Account Manage at high impact points in the Sales process, but does not take over the Sales process.
• Distinguishes between poor performe with developmental needs and those unable succeed. Actively manages out those unable to succeed and advocates upward movement for strong performe.
• Be highly results – oriented and strives to maximize region performance relative to goals.
• Evaluates overall agency and corporate portfolio management activities and stee where necessary to eure optimal profitability, yield and cost of sales.
• Itills individual and region accountability and a result focus through peonal example and active performance management. Sets clear, actionable short-term goals for each Account Manager to improve performance. Speaks candidly to Account Manage about developmental needs. Foster a competitive, “hungry” sales culture while enforcing the highest ethical standards and customer care exemplifying United’s core values. Supports, coordinates and serves as liaison between Marketing, Pricing, Sales fostering communication and cotructive feedback.
• Studies market analysis for China/Chengdu marketing focuses on market and revenue share goals and communicates/ evaluates performance with the Account Manager identifying opportunities developing strategies to improve results.
QUALIFICATIO REQUIRED:
• Minimum 5 yea previous experience managing sales in Airline / travel industry
• Must be in good command of speaking / writing in Chinese / English
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to develop new and better approaches to challenges
• Strong communication, presentation and relatiohip building skills
• Has experience and sustained success interacting with buying committees and procurement organizatio.
• Be seasoned and capable of forging lasting relatiohips with officer level management in top customer organizatio and within United.
• Has high caliber coultative, solutio oriented selling abilities
• Has strong business acumen, financial acumen and mix of business management skills
• Excellent at problem solving, and is analytical in approach
• Has strategic thinking ability, while also demotrating attention to details and follow-through
• Has deep knowledge of joint venue value propositio
• Prepared to travel oveeas as required
• Must have the right to live and work in China
SALARY SCALE:
To be determined, competitive with local market pay for similar roles
WORKING HOU:
