The Coulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands was established in 1997 and cove the provinces of Guangdong, Fujian, Hainan and the autonomic region Guangxi.

The Coulate General's focal points are to promote Dutch economic interests and to provide coular services. There are over 250 Dutch nationals in Guangzhou. More and more entrepreneu find their way to this top economic region. Guangzhou and the surrounding provinces are also a popular holiday destination for Dutch tourists. Furthermore, the amount of Chinese nationals visiting the Netherlands for work, studies or tourism has increased strongly.
